From patent to impact — PARP Future Camp proposal

The LEGACY AND INNOVATION Foundation (KRS 0001188002, Opatów / Warsaw) offers for startup-ecosystem events — including the PARP Future Camp format — an author path from IP protection to social pilot.

Method page: MWP / MVE methodology.

The problem we address

Deep-tech innovators often lack a safe test environment and early references. OECD points to low self-assessed entrepreneurial skills and high fear of failure. A classic isolated MVP does not measure social value at TRL 3–6.

Our answer: Prosocial Validation Methodology (MWP) + Minimum Viable Ecosystem (MVE) — controlled non-commercial pilots with NGOs, local government and universities, then an Impact Report / SROI as evidence for scaling (including B2B/B2G outside the grant region).

How to present it (Future Camp fit)

Agenda blockOur entry
Impact / social enterprisesTalk: Hardware into Heartware — deep-tech + NGO as first validation
Economic viabilitySROI + Impact Report as a bridge to investors
Public capital / founder psychologyDe-risk via MVE instead of a “lonely MVP”
Brand storytelling / AI-nativeSocial pilot cases (no commercial client portfolio)

Deck — 10 slides

  1. Title — From patent to impact: prosocial validation instead of fear of failure
  2. Challenge — OECD gap: skills vs fear; missing deep-tech references
  3. MVE — four streams: knowledge, mentoring, IP, social need
  4. MWP / 12 steps — Problem → Hypothesis → Prototype → Validation
  5. IP safety — documentation, purpose licence, UPRP sources (no “monopoly” marketing claim)
  6. Living lab — licence for NGOs / universities; examples from foundation projects
  7. SROI — formula + illustrative method example (not a guaranteed result)
  8. Path to scale — non-commercial phase → B2B/B2G outside the grant region
  9. Funding — NOWEFIO / PROO, senior programmes, FENG SMART vs TRL
  10. CTA — statute PDF, contact, apply for a research–deployment licence
