The craft-jewelry project offers jewellery and craft workshops rooted in local heritage: stones, metal, and the story of place. The pilot includes budget, team, partners and schedule - without commercial client portfolios.

Who it is for

  • Jewellers and goldsmiths (including beginners)
  • Craftspeople, artists, jewellery and fashion designers
  • Museums and community centres - local craft exhibitions
  • Volunteers: goldsmiths, educators, photographers (2–5 people)

Scope

  • Jewellery workshops: stones, metal, place history (no commercial client portfolios)
  • Process documentation - photos, short educational films
  • Link to Living Memory (story of place + object)
  • Compliance: legal sources of minerals and metals; no illegal treasure hunting

MVP1 Craft

  • 4–6 weekend workshops (8–12 participants each)
  • Tool and material kit for 1 mobile workstation
  • 10–20 jewellery prototypes with social-origin certificate
  • 1 local exhibition (community centre / museum)

  • 1–2 master jewellers / goldsmiths (instructors)

  • 1 foundation coordinator (partnerships, grant reporting)
  • Museum / community centre partner (exhibition space)

Implementation schedule

Duration: 9–12 months

  • Months 1–2: recruit instructors and partners, buy materials, mineral compliance procedure
  • Months 3–8: 4–6 workshops (every 4–6 weeks), documentation
  • Months 9–10: local exhibition + pilot report
  • Months 11–12: draft next grant / scale-up

Foundation model

Workshops and prototypes under statutory goals → optional craft sales for foundation statutory purposes → return to education programmes. No commercial client portfolios; focus on education, activation and local heritage.
