From passion to profession - demoscene as a school of skills

Problem

People who create code, graphics, music or events in their free time often struggle to describe that work as credible experience. A portfolio may show the result while omitting roles, decisions, collaboration and responsibility. A short path is needed from one artefact to a concrete 90-day goal.

Goal

Help participants turn creative experience into a portfolio, named skills and a realistic next step.

Solution

Each participant selects one artefact, describes their contribution, evidence and feedback, then builds a 90-day plan. Five profiles cover code, graphics, music, event organisation and production collaboration. Talent Map structures the process for the participant.

Participants choose one artefact and describe their contribution: code, graphics, music, event organisation or production collaboration. With feedback from a practitioner, they organise evidence of their work and set one goal for the next 90 days.

Talent Map provides the method for participants. The foundation does not take ownership of their brand, portfolio or publication decisions.
