Problem

Memories fade with people. Plaques can stay silent. Children often do not know how to touch grandparents' history. We need a bridge from listening to making: from story to model, from model to a shared game about a place.

Solution

We listen to and record local community stories, then show them on plaques, illustrations, memory cards and 3D models. A child can sit with a grandparent, listen to their story, and then make a keepsake tied to the history of the family or place.

Living Memory links residents’ stories with the places they belong to. Memories from seniors, schools, museums and local communities are shown on plaques, trails, illustrations and 3D models.

This lets children and adults see, hear and touch history. Working together helps preserve family memories and get to know local heritage better.

Selected stories can become points in City of Stories, and participants in Digital Heritage 3D can make related models and keepsakes.

Foundation model

We offer a social licence. Local partners use the solution free of charge for non-commercial aims. Living Memory gathers stories. City of Stories turns them into a game. Digital Heritage 3D teaches building a story on a computer and printing it.
