Modular safes for sports clubs

Modular safes and controlled issue of sports equipment for shooting clubs and associations.

Draft · partners sought

Problem

Sports clubs and associations need secure, scalable storage and a clear issue procedure. Existing options are often rigid, costly to expand, or hard to fit into a small facility.

Solution

We are preparing a pilot of modular safes and controlled issue procedures for sports equipment. The starting point is a shape-changing cubature concept. The club partner sets access rules and day-to-day care; the foundation prepares the social programme. Technical details, protection filings, and planned tests with a licensed manufacturer are discussed away from the public site.

Your role

  • Club board / facility caretaker
  • Instructor responsible for equipment issue
  • Volunteer for logistics and documentation
  • Student / trainee in design and organisational safety

Who it is for

  • Sport shooting clubs and associations
  • Sports facilities with equipment stores
  • Instructors and equipment caretakers
  • Senior organisations cooperating with a club (intergenerational sessions)
  • Local authorities supporting sports infrastructure

First stage

  • Pilot scenario with one partner club
  • Issue, return and access documentation procedure
  • Store usability test with instructors
  • Draft path for testing and certification with a licensed manufacturer

How the foundation model works

The foundation prepares the pilot programme and partner cooperation. The field partner provides the site, lawful activity and day-to-day care. The concept starts from the shape-changing cubature family. Certification is not complete: after protection filings are ordered, we plan work with a licensed manufacturer and accredited testing. Technical details are discussed away from the public site.

Action plan

30 days

  • Publish the card and recruit partner clubs
  • Draft issue and documentation procedure

90 days

  • Pilot protocol with one club
  • Instructor and board feedback
  • Draft testing path with a manufacturer

Example social uses

  • Secure storage and issue in a small club
  • Expanding storage in segments as membership grows
  • Clear access procedures for instructors and the board
  • Intergenerational sessions when a club works with a senior club or senior village
  • Better store accessibility for older people and people with limited mobility

Partnership

We seek pilot partners: sports clubs and associations, facility owners and local authorities. The partner provides the site, lawful sports activity and day-to-day care; the foundation provides the programme and cooperation rules. Cooperation with the foundation’s senior and accessibility programmes is possible without merging them into one product.
  • Sports clubs and associations
  • Sports facility owners
  • Local government units
  • Senior organisations and senior clubs (optional)

We are looking for volunteers and academic partners

Across all foundation projects we seek volunteers for field work, documentation, education, logistics and participant care.

For outstanding candidates we offer placements in every format: on-site, remote and hybrid, as well as research commissions, sponsorship of engineering and master's theses, doctoral work and joint research with universities and student research groups.
