After a flood, windstorm or evacuation, the ground floor may be unusable and the nearest safe place to sleep may be far away. People need shelter that emergency services, a volunteer or a family can bring to the site and set up quickly.
The project provides temporary shelter carried on a car roof and set up above the whole vehicle when the ground is flooded or unsafe. With partners we establish safe-use rules and care for the people using the shelter. Structural details are discussed away from the public site.
